Seeking info on 2nd Lt. Edward H. Morrison PDF Print E-mail

2nd Lt. Edward H. Morrison is reported KIA under 70th BS in this site, does anyone know what led to his death/date of death?

Does anyone has a photo of him? From what US State was he?

A book detailing the history of 42nd Bomb Squadron (which was joined by 70th BS in 1943) mentionedin Chapter 5 that Lt. Morrison joined the 70th BS mid October 1941. Was the book referring to Edward H. Morrison? I was rather confused since later in the book a certain Lt. William D. Morrison from New York (also under 70th BS?) was mentioned.

When an accident happened in December 1942, when the main landing gear of plane no. 64, collapsed, was it Lt. Edward H. Morrison in the plane?

The website www.web-birds.com has a group picture of the officers of 70th BS in Fiji. Below the picture is the name "Morrison" (no. 23), was he Edward H. Morrison? Anyone who has a clearer photo of 2nd Lt. Edward H. Morrison?

Hope my questions will be answered. You may email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

            Thanks a lot.
